About Our Rabbitry

Post Oak Rabbitry is a small family owned rabbitry located off of Post Oak Road in Spotsylvania Virginia. All of our buns are loved and handled daily from birth to ensure the sweetest and most friendly traits. 

Although I have owned and cared for rabbits my entire life, as a family we began breeding bunnies in 2021 and have litters throughout the entire year. Our buns are our family pets first and foremost. We do not breed them all and the does that are breed are limited to two litters per year. Our buns are also retired at the age of three and will no longer nurse after this time. 

We have handled and specialized in Holland Lops, Lionheads, Lion-Lops, Mini Rex, and NewZealands. At this time we only breed Holland Lops and Mini Rex, although sometimes we do have rescue buns available for pet-only homes. 

We currently have 14 adult buns which are used for pet and breeding purposes at our rabbitry. Post Oak is ran solely as a hobby and is non-profitable. All proceeds on kits go directly back into the care and love of our buns and future litters. Most of our kits range in cost from $40-$150 based upon breed, genetics, and color.  

Because the care of these buns are our top priority, Post Oak offers partial refunds on returns of rabbits of any age. This is to ensure they never end up neglected or surrendered.
